Just waiting out winter’s last gasps for spring to break through and nature to be reborn. I’ve gotten out for a handful of winter hikes, but I need nature’s “life” to truly enjoy it. This has been one of the harshest winters in Indiana in many years, record snow fall, most days with below zero temps. We’ve already booked our summer camping vacation to St. Joseph Peninsula on the panhandle of Florida in July, but we’re eager to hit the trails and campgrounds here in and around the Hoosier state as soon as possible. Though we received about 4 inches of snow last night, the spring birds are singing.
I’m pretty sure they’re just as eager for Spring to arrive as I am.
